Creative Director of The Force Dance Company Dance Instructor Kim Helfrich graduated from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance. Kim performed throughout the country in professional theater for seven years with shows including Cabaret, West Side Story, Follies, Robin Hood, and as Judy in A Chorus Line. Her favorite role was as a Radio City Rockette! Kim traveled with the National Tour of A Chorus Line as Kristine and performed in the Great Radio City Spectacular as a Rockette at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, starring with Susan Anton and Maurice Hines. She also appeared in the 1997 & 1998 Radio City Christmas Spectacular in New York City with the iconic dance company. Kim has been involved in teaching and choreographing dance and theater for over 30 years and has choreographed for recitals, pageants, and dance competitions. Many of her students have captured prestigious awards for her choreography and training. She was awarded "Sports Businesswoman of Hunterdon County" in 1999 by the Women's Forum Chamber of Commerce. I welcome you to BBDC, and I'm really excited to educate and mold all our students into fine young dancers!
