Director of The Broadway Rhythms Tap Team
Dance Instructor Choreographer for The Force Dance Company Gina Quaglia, one of the studio's past Company Force dancers, is always ready to hit the ground dancing with a smile. She started dancing at the tender age of three. She has a background in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary/modern. Gina began her apprentice teaching career at twelve while assisting Kim Helfrich, the studio's Owner. Gina's performances over the years have taken her to Universal Studios, the Disney Market Place, and Epcot in Florida. As a BBDC Company dancer, she also performed at the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, the Patriot Stadium's opening show, nursing homes, the VA Hospital, and at various parades. Gina is committed to continually expanding her knowledge and growing as a dancer and teacher. She regularly participates in workshops and weekly classes to further develop her skills and stay inspired in her teaching. Gina attended DeSales University and graduated with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. She has her Master’s degree in the Art of Education. Gina currently is an elementary special education teacher in the Bridgewater-Raritan School District. She was the Governor's Educator of the Year Award winner for the 2025-2026 school year at her school. Gina has been teaching dance since 2004 and choreographs for both recitals and dance competitions for The Force Dance Company and Rhythms Tap Team. Her choreography has won numerous awards and has received top overall placements at both regional and national competitions. Gina focuses on instilling a philosophy of dedication and hard work. She hopes to share her passion and love of dance with her students. |
