Instructor and Choreographer for The Force Dance Company
Website Manager Dance Instructor Anna LaMorte began dancing when she was 4 years old and became a member of The Force Dance Company in 2008. With 18 years of intense training and knowledge in jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical, contemporary/modern and hip hop, she loves to teach the next generation of inspiring dancers. Anna has always had a passion for performing. She has performed in multiple venues such as nursing homes, malls, regional/national competitions, and even musicals taking the role as an Angel in the musical “Anything Goes”. Anna’s interest in choreography began at age 16 when she was selected among a group of girls to choreograph a dance for multiple regional competitions. Her dance “River” placed the highest adjudication possible, diamond, and 3rd place overall. Since then, Anna has continued to choreograph dances for competitions, weddings and talent shows. She also was selected as a member of Penn State’s Orchesis Dance Company where she had many opportunities to choreograph. Anna is always looking to expand her dance knowledge and frequently participates in classes at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. With dance comes strength and Anna believes in a strong, healthy dancer. She actively takes part in yoga, barre and zumba classes outside the studio and enjoys sharing her knowledge with her students. Anna is currently being trained under Mason Gross School of the Arts where she will be obtaining a BA in Dance and a minor in Business Administration. |
