She believes dance education extends beyond technique, helping students develop confidence, discipline, creativity, and a lifelong love of movement. Anna discovered her passion for choreography at the age of 16 when she was selected to create competitive routines for regional competitions. Since then, she has continued to choreograph for competitive dancers, weddings, talent shows, and special performances. Her choreography has earned numerous overall placements, high score awards, and judges’ awards at both regional and national competitions. Most notably, Anna has received Industry Dance Awards (IDA) nominations in two consecutive years for Highest Scoring Jazz Routine and Highest Scoring Tap Routine, recognizing her creativity, musicality, and artistic vision. In addition to her work with competitive dancers, Anna has developed a passion for early childhood education. She is Kids MusicRound (KMR) Certified in Music and Movement, where she combines music, movement, and play to create engaging and developmentally appropriate classes for toddlers and preschool-aged children. She believes that introducing dance and movement at an early age helps build confidence, coordination, creativity, and a strong foundation for future learning. Committed to continuing her own growth as an educator and artist, Anna regularly takes classes at Broadway Dance Center in New York City and participates in ongoing professional development opportunities within the dance industry. Through her teaching, choreography, and leadership, Anna strives to inspire each dancer to embrace their individuality, work toward their goals, and discover the joy that dance brings. |
