Instructor and Choreographer for The Force Dance Company
Dance Instructor Social Media Manager Gianna Sicola began her dance journey at Broadway Bound Dance Center at the age of three and started competing in 2010. She graduated from Raritan Valley Community College in 2022 with an Associate of Arts in Education (P-12) and from Rutgers University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance, along with a Minor in Digital Communications, Information, and Media. With nearly 20 years of training, Gianna is now pursuing her passion for both teaching and dance as an instructor at BBDC. Gianna has received extensive training in a variety of dance styles, including ballet/pointe, jazz, contemporary/modern, hip hop, and tap. During her college years, she expanded her dance education, furthering her skills in ballet, modern, and jazz, while also exploring Latin American Salsa, improvisation, urban dance, and kinesiology. She has had the privilege of working with numerous talented teachers, choreographers, and artists, both within the studio and in the professional dance community. Throughout her time at RVCC and Rutgers, Gianna had the opportunity to learn from renowned artists, which solidified her personal choreography and her approach to teaching, and perform in various showcases. At Rutgers, she was a member of the Rutgers Performing Dance Company, performing in both fall and spring semester showcases, and competing with the company at various college dance competitions. Gianna is passionate about taking on new challenges and continuously expanding her knowledge. She often takes classes to continue her training and continue her expansion on various styles. As an instructor, she is dedicated to inspiring her students to push their limits and embrace new experiences. Dance is Gianna’s greatest passion, and she is committed to sharing that love with others. Beyond the technical skills, she encourages her students to carry themselves with grace, set ambitious goals, and, most importantly, enjoy the art of dance both in the studio and on stage. Gianna is excited to continue sharing her passion for dance and hopes to inspire the next generation of dancers. |
